Illegal Parking on Sidewalk of Jalan Cideng Timur Controlled

The officers of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. along with Satpol PP and police held illegal parking raid on the sidewalk in front of an ex-trader shelter of Tasik Market, Jalan Cideng Timur, Gambir.

We've made a deal and give a warning. That means traders and visitors who park their vehicle illegally will be controlled

"We've made a deal and give a warning. That means traders and visitors who park their vehicle illegally will be controlled," expressed Harlem Simajuntak, Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Thursday (4/19).

According to him, trade schedule in the shelter is every Monday and Thursday. Based on the deal between sub-district head and caretaker, the sidewalk must be free from illegal parking, as it is only intended to the passerby.

Due to Illegal Parking, 13 Vehicles Netted

From the raid results, 26 motorcycles are netted and brought to the Transportation Sub-dept. office. "7 out of them are ticketed on the spot. And the rest are brought to our office, so just come to redeem there," he asserted.

He reiterated again that the sidewalk must be free from illegal parking on next Monday. It applies to the trader and visitor.
